  • Joe B Massey M.D.

    Joe B Massey M.D. – Chairman was educated at Emory College and School of Medicine in Atlanta. Residency and infertility fellowship training was completed at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. After service in the US Navy, he entered private practice in Atlanta in obstetrics, gynecology and infertility. In 1983 he was cofounder of the IVF Center, Reproductive Biology Associates in Atlanta , achieving one of the first pregnancies in the Deep South. Collaborations with the clinics outstanding laboratory directors led to a number of breakthroughs and extensive publications in the field of assisted reproduction. After a long career he was employed writing grant proposals for Molecular Biometrics , a medical diagnostic startup company. He then returned to his first love clinical infertility practice and most recently held a position at a low cost IVF center, Central New York Fertility Center. His most recent venture is the Servy Massey Fertility Institute based in Atlanta and Augusta. He is Chairman of the Board of OptiVia Medical, an early stage company in medical endoscopy. He has been on the medical advisory Board of Cryocell International, a successful cord blood freezing company. He was chair of the medical advisory board of Stemron, Inc, which attempted parthenogenesis for the establishment of stem cell lines. He also has advised Monoclonal Antibodies Inc, a diagnostic company, C– Change an early stage medical device company, and Holodoctor, an internet medical information service for Hispanics. He is on the advisory panel for the Stem Cell Action Coalition, a nonprofit entity advocating research support for the field.

  • Marcy Zwelling-Aamot, M.D.

    Marcy Zwelling-Aamot, M.D. is the current chairman of the board and former president of AAPP, a respected member of the California medical community, and a prominent voice in the crusade to improve the broken healthcare system. Dr. Zwelling-Aamot is an actively double board-certified physician, a notable achievement even among the best doctors in the nation. Marcy graduated with honors from Wellesley College and studied medicine at New York University Medical School where she graduated at the top of her class. Dr. Zwelling arrived in Los Angeles in 1980 and completed her residency training in both Internal and Emergency Medicine at Harbor-UCLA. She achieved board certification in both specialties and went on to become boarded in utilization review and to work in Critical Care. In 2004 Dr. Zwelling-Aamot dramatically reduced the size of her practice, adopting the Concierge Medicine model in order to provide a higher level of access and attention to a smaller number of patients.

  • Danton S. Dungy, M.D.

    Danton S. Dungy, M.D. is the founder and CEO of The Dungy Orthopedic Center in Chandler, Arizona. He is a Board certified practicing orthopedic surgeon with a sub-specialization in adult reconstructive surgery. He holds membership in the AMA, the American Association of Hip and Knee Surgeons, and as a fellow of the American Association of Orthopedic Surgeons (AAOS) since 2006. He received his B.S. degree in Microbiology from the University of Maryland College Park during which time he worked as an intern in the Clinical Pathology Department at the National Institutes of Health and performed genetic research at The Johns Hopkins University. Dr. Dungy earned his medical degree from the University of Illinois and completed his surgical internship and residency at The George Washington University in Washington, D.C. where he had the opportunity to study and work with some of the nation's most respected educators in medicine. He followed up his training at The George Washington University with a Fellowship at the Harvard University Combined Orthopedic Training Program at Massachusetts General Hospital. During the Fellowship, he focused his study on orthopedic joint replacement and reconstructive surgery. Dr. Dungy publishes in his areas of specialization in international peer-reviewed journals, and he presents his research to colleagues at national meetings. Dr. Dungy is a "citizen physician" and is very active within his community serving as a teacher and mentor to both medical and physician assistant students. He also gives lectures and presentations throughout the community on treatment options for common orthopedic issues on a regular basis. Through his active practice, he performs over 300 joint replacement surgeries annually. He has been caring for patients since receiving his medical degree over 15 years ago.

  • Fouad I. Ghaly, M.D.

    Fouad I. Ghaly, M.D. is considered one of the most influential physicians working in the field of regenerative medicine therapies. He has participated in numerous regenerative medicine conferences all over the world, often as a guest lecturer or highlighted participant. He has also collaborated with a distinguished, international group of leading physicians, researchers and scientists on various projects. Highlights include presentations on Regenerative Medicine, Platelet Rich Plasma Therapy, EECP Therapy, Bio-Identical Hormone Replacement Therapy, and Tissue Specific Stem Cell Research and Application. Dr. Ghaly attended the University of Alexandria Medical School in Egypt, then transferring to Winnipeg, Canada to complete his residencies at Winnipeg General Hospital, St. Boniface Hospital and the Health Science Center at the University of Manitoba in 1969. A fellowship at the John Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, MD continued to provide him with valuable education on Intensive Care Medicine and Cardiac Anesthesia. By 1975, Dr. Ghaly became a diplomat of the American Board of Anesthesiology. Dr. Ghaly received many accolades as an associate clinical professor at various universities and was elected "Best Clinical Educator" by the senior class at the University of Washington, School of Medicine. *** By 1995 Dr. Ghaly focused his attention on an exciting new field, founding the Ghaly Center for Regenerative Medicine as well as becoming certified by the American Board of Anti-Aging Medicine. Dr. Ghaly incorporates innovative scientific research, alternative therapies, state of the art technology, and conventional medicine to create customized treatment plans. Dr. Ghaly is passionate about educating and guiding his patients to "live better longer". He oversees offices in Torrance and Beverly Hills CA, and Aspen, CO.

  • Dr. Joseph Purita

    Dr. Joseph Purita received his undergraduate and medical degrees from Georgetown University. His orthopedic residency was completed at the University of Miami where he served as Chief Resident. Dr. Purita is board certified by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery, the American Academy of Pain Management, and the Board of Age Management Medicine. He is a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons and the American College of Surgeons. Dr. Purita has served as team physician for a number of local schools and the Boca Jades professional basketball team. He has treated some of the most prominent professional athletes in all major sports including the NFL, MLB, NBA, PGA and the UFC /MMA. Dr. Purita is a pioneer in the use of stem cells and platelet rich plasma for a variety of orthopedic conditions which previously required surgery. He now offers an alternative to standard surgery. He is the director of the Institute of Regenerative and Molecular Orthopedics (www.stemcellorthopedics.com). He is considered one of the pre-eminent experts in the world on the use of stem cells in the orthopedic field. Dr. Purita and his work have been profiled on ESPN, CNN, NYT, WSJ, S.I. and numerous other periodicals. He has been invited to lecture on these techniques throughout the world as a visiting professor. Dr. Purita's institute acts as a training center for physicians from all over the world to learn about stem cell and platelet treatments.

  • Dr. Ricardo Rodriguez

    Dr. Ricardo Rodriguez has been practicing plastic surgery for 25 years. He has performed thousands of cosmetic and reconstructive cases over the course of his career. These cases have included breast reconstruction, replants of fingers after traumatic injury, skin grafting on burn patients and diabetics as well as two decades of experienced with the full spectrum of cosmetic surgery. Dr. Rodriguez was trained in plastic surgery at Yale University Medical School. After completing his residency, he was invited to become a professor of plastic surgery at Yale, where he taught residents reconstructive and cosmetic surgery procedures. Dr. Rodriguez is board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and is a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS). He currently serves as clinical instructor in the Johns Hopkins Plastic Surgery Department in Baltimore, MD.

    Dr. Rodriguez has developed a research focus on cell enhanced fat grafting using stem cells from adipose tissue. In 2012, Dr. Rodriguez was selected by the ASPS to be a member of the Regenerative Medicine Task Force team, whose mission is to educate board certified plastic surgeons about adipose stem cells and bring promising new therapy to the clinical environment. In 2013, Dr. Rodriguez and researchers from Johns Hopkins Medical School, University of Maryland Medical School, and a biotech company were awarded a stem cell grant from the Maryland Stem Cell Research Fund (MSCRF) to study the invivo tracking (in the body) of adipose stem cells for radiation damaged breast tissue. Dr. Rodriguez has a passionate interest in the newly exploding field of regenerative medicine and adipose stem cells. He looks forward to bringing protocols for these stem cell therapies to the clinical environment.
